"Getting repeat pescriptions"

Our practice has always been careful about over prescribing so we only have our repeats on or near the last day.

To overcome this our surgery uses patient access service. Now the patient access service has changed the login numbers. Although we got the new number from the service we are locked out so no way of putting for repeat pescriptions.

They don't do any prescriptions over the phone so it a case of going to the surgery yourself. Putting the request in, wait 3 days then go and collect.

In the mean time people like myself run out of our medication like our heart tablets. How daft can you get.

I told the surgery about the difficulty with patient access and was told it would be fixed same day. It's not. So not happy with patient access not happy with surgery.

We already have trouble getting a doctors appointment - 3/4week wait or pot luck if you get on phone early enough to be first in queue.

Funny thing is when I'm lucky enough to get an appointment the surgery is empty except for literally 2/3 patients.
