"Confusion over appointment dates caused me anxiety-TRAQS"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS) The Princess Royal Hospital (Telford)

(as the patient),

The appointment itself was fine but I received 3 letters telling me one date, I did not have the opportunity to choose and book, and then another letter with a new date for 2 days later.

I had to ring and confirm and no-one could tell me if the new had been brought forward on medical grounds or not. This caused me some anxiety because I felt I'd been "fast tracked" for cancer when I had nothing of the sort.

On the day I got good and considerate treatment. Just sort out the booking.

We appreciate your frustration with the hospital booking system at the hospital. Unfortunately if an appointment is rebooked by the hospital providing the treatment TRAQS has no control over this. TRAQS only books the first out patient appointment, any changes made are the responsibility of the hospital booking team at PRH.
