"Ongoing support from Mental Health Team appreciated"

All throughout my illness with depression and anxiety the team at my local health centre in Kirkintilloch have given me and my family 1st class care and reassurance.

In particular my CPN who comes to see me regularly in my own home helps me feel better and has encouraged me to get out of the house again.

When things aren't going so well the staff at the health centre are only a phone call away which is very important when suffering from mental illness. There is always good medical care and understanding. Without it I don't think I could manage so well.

I want others who are suffering from mental ill health not to be afraid to ask for help and for the staff to know they are very much appreciated by me and my family.
