"Excellent care in children departments at Rotherham"

I have had numerous visits to both the children's outpatients and children's wards at Rotherham General and have always been impressed.

The staff have always treated me as an individual and not another statistic. They have always reassured me when I have been nervous, and explained all treatments and tests really well. The waiting room is comfortable, although more magazines for pre-teens and teenagers would be appreciated.

When I was admitted to the ward, although test results took quite a while to come back (understandable in a hospital this size) I was kept entertained by the wonderful play therapists who set my bedside tv up and kept coming round to talk to me and other patients. However, I wasn't sure whose care I was under, which made me a little confused.

I can't thank the staff enough, I have seen so many over the past few years. But a special thank you to Dr Suri & his team
