"Reassured by my care and tests"

During the last 4 years I have had appointments at the following Outpatient Clinics at East Surrey Hospital: Cardiac Clinic, Respiratory Clinic, Endoscopy Clinic.

At each clinic I was seen promptly and was treated with great respect. I was given all relevant tests available and follow up appointments were made immediately.

I was particularly impressed with the care afforded to me by Dr Banershee, the heart consultant. She is a lovely lady, who is warm and caring. Everything a patient needs when in an anxious situation, but sadly, rarely encounters.

In the course of 9 months, Dr Banershee arranged for me to have an MRI scan at the Heart Hospital in London, followed by an angiogram at East Surrey Hospital. There were other tests in between. Dr Banershee also referred me to another department to see if any of my problem was cancer treatment related.

By the end of all the tests I felt completely reassured that my heart is in very good condition and that I had had the best possible care and attention possible. I feel very lucky to have been referred to Dr Banershee, who is a credit to not only herself, but also to her profession and the hospital.
