I have had to have total knee replacement and at the same time as the previous persons comments, as an inpatient I couldn't have been treated better. Porters willing to share a joke, efficient technician doing the xray.
A few days later my wife had hurt her knee preparing my return from surgery. Her GP sent her for X-ray at the very same unit.
She said to the technician "I hope it's nothing serious as I need to stay mobile (because of me coming home etc) and was greeted by, and I quote:
"I am not in a position to tell you...even if I was, I'm not paid enough to anyway."
My wife felt very let down by the statement of this person but being more concerned for me at the time didn't say anything.
"Upset at xray department"
