I was very pleasantly surprised. There was plenty of parking space, and the modern airy corridors felt relaxing. After finding my area I was only waiting ten minutes before being called in by the doctor.
We had a brief discussion and she suggested I have a biopsy and a blood test. While she hoped these would provide a solution, she was honest in saying that there may not be one. It could be a situation I'd have to live with. I appreciate this direct approach which did not give me a false impression of a guaranteed cure.
Leaving the doctor I had a blood test but was unable to have a biopsy as that doctor was fully booked. She said I would have to have a second appointment for this. The whole thing only took twenty minutes.
