First time I've been and I was afraid in case they hurt my toes, as I have a fungal infection in them.

They were gentle and it felt great and I wouldn't be afraid to go again.

The only thing is, it's a long time to wait 4-5 months each time they said. But otherwise everything was fine.

Dear Pattern553,

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment regarding your first experience with the Podiatry Service. It is really important to us that our patients tell us about their experiences. I am please that you felt our Podiatrists were gentle, and made you feel at ease and that you would feel happy to attend your next appointment, however you have also highlighted the important issue that you feel it is a long time to wait until your next appointment.

We are aware that due to the high demand for the service the length of time between visits has increased to an unacceptable length of time and we are currently trying to address this issue of bringing the waiting times down across the whole service. To enable us to do this we have been given some extra funding to allow us to book extra Podiatry sessions at our clinics. The waiting times are being closely monitored and you will start to see an improvement in the near future. If you would like more specific information related to the clinic at which you attend, or feel that your foot care needs should be reassessed by your Podiatrist please do not hesitate to contact me further on 0800 073 0578.
