"Concerns after husband's treatment at Aintree"

About: University Hospital Aintree / General medicine

(as a relative),

My husband was admitted to Fazakerley hospital on 10th Feb 2007 and is still in hospital. He is PEG fed, with no right side movement and in a wheelchair, unable to transfer. We have had to put our house up for sale in order to bring him home.

A serious incident investigation, brought by the hospital itself, after I had made a complaint, produce a report in January 2008. A firm of medical negligence solicitors are now on the case.

I am not, for obvious reasons, going into details of this case.

I just want people to question everything they don't understand. Don't assume that Drs know everything or more than you!

If you think the treatment is not right, then actively voice your concerns!

Don't accept second best. Only the best is good enough for your relative, always remember that.
