"Felt uncomfortable at my recent appointment"

About: East Surrey Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

Talking about sensitive personal medical information to 3 healthcare professionals (a consultant, junior doctor and nurse) made me feel uncomfortable. It felt like a bigger audience than necessary.

In another hospital I only had an appointment with one consultant and I felt much more relaxed to explain my medical symptoms. I also felt as though the consultant didn't fully listen to what I was explaining. I found the nurse was excellent and very caring.
