I was a patient in Clinic 3 of the gynaecology department at the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham earlier this year. At one point, I disagreed with what treatment the registrar wished to proceed with, so I was glad when the consultant was asked for her opinion and she said that no treatment was necessary, only monitoring.
The main improvement to be made would be to the waiting times. My appointment for a scan was 1 hour late, and no explanation was given as to why there was such a delay.
