What I liked

Thanks for my treatment in A&e on Thursday 4th October. From being collected by ambulance staff to end of treatment I was extremely happy. Staff were very caring and coped with the unit literally being built around them as they carried on .The staff who cared for an elderly man who had a broken hip were wonderful. Please say well done in particular to the nurse who looked after him. He couldn't have had more respect or care anywhere else.

Thanks for posting your comment. Our Emergency Department has been greatly improved recently, but as you mention, the service has had to continue to function throughout the development. Its testament to the hard work of the team that their level of service and caring didn't suffer despite the work going on around them. I will pass on your comments to the team.
