"I was made to feel comfortable by staff on visit to dermatology clinic"

About: Sentinel Healthcare Southwest Community Interest Company / Dermatology (skin)

(as the patient),

My visit to Mount Gould hospital was to have a biopsy for a skin complaint and developed blisters on both upper legs. The treatment I received was second to none, I was made to feel comfortable on the treatment bed and the Doctor explained in full the procedure that was to follow, which was very well carried out.

I've no complaints whatsoever. I shall await my results and will have no hesitation on future visits to the above named hospital.

Thanking all concerned

Dear Acacia275

Thank you for your story about Sentinel and your minor procedure, we are glad you felt it went well.

In our Dermatology service we run a one stop clinic to ensure patients get fast treatment and don't need to return to the clinic for another appointment that causes delays for patients and creates additional appointments to be booked by our staff. Instead patients receive an appointment with the doctor and if they need minor operation they can opt to have it after the appointment, patients have been very pleased with this approach. Through patient feedback we have also adapted our appointment letters to inform patients that they have the choice of this service at the appointment so they can give themselves enough time.

Once again thank you for your feedback about your experiences.

Best wishes
