I was a patient on ward B2 of the Acute Medicine Unit at the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham. I was very impressed with almost all aspects of the service. The standard of care was very good, as was the cleanliness of the hospital in general.
However, the actual discharge from the unit took a very long time, so this could have been improved.
I would like to thank the ambulance crew, A&E staff, AMU ward B2 staff and the porters, who always managed to put the patients at ease.
