Last month, I attended the day surgery at Rotherham District General hospital for a hernia operation. The standard of medical care was very good, as was the standard of care provided by the nursing staff. This was my first surgical experience and the staff did everything possible to reassure me and put me at ease. They were excellent.

Thanks to everyone at the day surgery - everyone treated me with dignity and respect.
