What I liked
The care I received from doctors, nurses, surgeon and others was great. Ultimately what mattered was that I go the problem I had fixed and I believe this was done as far as was possible. The professionalism and care of the supporting team made the experience less stressful and no doubt with a better outcome all round.
What could be improved
The appointment system running up to the operation I had was a little bit of shambles although I'm not sure that was the fault of Trafford Hospital, more of the inefficient central booking system.
The follow up appointment was a frustrating experience. I felt that he, although I don't doubt he knew his stuff, had a poor bedside manner. I think his words to a questions were 'you can leave that to us to worry' about'. I didn't mind that I got to see a locum but I would have appreciated a more positive discussion.
"I am very grateful to Trafford Hospital, the staff..."
