"I feel this story should be told as my partner's doctor gives all he can and more"

My partner was getting very ill and the doctors at Christow Surgery which is a subsidiary of Cheriton Bishop never gave up trying to find out what was wrong.

She spent 6 weeks in Torquay hospital and they did tests but I feel the treatment she received in there was terrible.

Dr Clunie, her primary GP in the practice, has been totally wonderful. He has worked long and hard to get her the best help she can get. He is very helpful and will do what it takes to make her life better. I feel this story should be told as my partner's doctor gives all he can and more.

I want to thank Dr Clunie by letting others know how wonderful he is as a doctor in our area. He has also helped us come to terms with health issues that are quite disconcerting to most people.

I think the small surgery is the answer to the NHS issue. They keep the patient in mind first and foremost and they get to know their patients instead of you seeing someone different each time you attend.

Please keep the small surgeries open so that patients get nice sensitive and positive care from their providers.
