"Quick diagnosis of meningitis at QEQM Margate, Kent"

About: Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital / Paediatrics

(as a parent/guardian),

My 3 week old son was sent to this ward by the GP for a second opinion.

Tests were done immediately and the results were back within hours. He was diagnosed with meningitis. The staff on Rainbow Ward were wonderful, from the domestics, the nurses, right through to the consultant doctors.

Their infallible kindness, patience, understanding and cheery manner made would have otherwise been a very difficult time as pleasant as possible.

Thank you.
