I had my appendix out at Barnsley Hospital 3 years ago. I was there for 1 week. The communication I had wasn't great, I had to wait 24hrs before I had a verdict on whether I had appendicitis, then once this was confirmed I was rushed to have an emergency operation - poor.
The food was better than I thought, I am vegitarian and they catered for me fine. I even had more than a cheese sandwich!
