What I liked
My mother was admitted to MAU on the 24th August and was cared for at th DGH until the 7th September when it was decided that she should be transfered to brighton as they were the specialist hospital hor her condition.
Whilst at the DGH we were kept informed of her treatment and the tests that she was having,we were invited to chat to the consultant if we needed any more details.
Since she has been transfered brighton hospital have done nothing but moan about things the the DGH didn't do that they should have done and things they did do that weren't needed.
We haven't seen a consultant since she has been in brighton and the nurses are hardly ever around to talk to even if they had any useful information to give us.
I would far recommend the eastbourne hospital over the brighton one anyday.
Keep up the good work eastbourne
