"Staff good, managment very low"

About: Royal Blackburn Hospital

What I liked

When I was addmited I was seen to sraight away,

What could be improved

The time waiting for bloods etc to be taken and waiting for doctor to tell you what is going on

Anything else?

Once the doctor came to say that they wanted to keep my mum for a scan on her leg because they thought she could have blood clots, because she had a knee replacment 3 weeks earlier, she was then taken to assesment ward and treated very well. but after a couple of days she was told at the morning they had found her a bed on d3 she was moved that afternoon was put on a wheelchair and plonkt at the bottom of d3 for over two hours she rung up very upset and she wanted to come home we went on and was told they had got her a bed we persuaded her to stay they got the bed ready for her only to be told that the lady who the moved out of that bed who was told she was going home then told her that she had to stay for another 4 days, mum was very upset again thinking she was beeing moved but she wasnt the staff was very good but we think if the bed manager did the job it wouldnt happen.so bed manager has a lot to answer for
