What I liked
The staff were all very good and reassuring
What could be improved
My surgery was cancelled at the last minute after I had been admitted and prepared for surgery.
Despite the NHS stating that the surgery should be rescheduled and performed within 28 days, 3 weeks notice by letter or 2 alternatives by phone, I still do not have an appointment almost 5 weeks later.
By now, I should have been offered treatment at another hospital.
I have phoned several times, but never get a useful response or call back.
My complaint letter wont be answered until mid November.
By now, I should be well on the way to recovery from my surgery, but instead, I am still suffering in pain and unable to work.
It must be the easiest way to avoid adhering to the NHS guidance by simply ignoring patients.
