What I liked
The Staff, the staff, the staff! I had a gastroscopy. I was dreading it because a family member had had a nightmare experience a couple of years ago. The nurse who took all my details and explained what would happen was excellent. He was very clear and very thorough, and made me feel comfortable about what would happen, as did the Consultant who carried out the procedure. The actual process was made completely bearable by both nurses and the Consultant, who were kind, calm and reassuring throughout. This could have been extremely traumatic had it not been for the care and kindness of the staff concerned, and I feel very lucky indeed to have had these particular individuals looking after me.
What could be improved
Nothing that I was aware of.
