I was recently a patient at the Queen's Medical Centre's Day Surgery. The standard of medical and nursing care was good - I was given reassurance and a comprehensive explanation of the program of my treatment.
However, waiting time could be reduced by better sticking to appointments.
Thanks to all staff from the admission (pre-op assessment) to the follow-up telephone call at home the next day.
