I visited hospital in Scarborough who xrayed my wrist and stated that before I left they would check to see if they could send my xrays and details to West Yorkshire Hospitals via interlink or they would furnish me with a CD to take to them with me. They returned saying that they had sent my details via interlink and to visit me A&E on my return home.
On visiting Pinderfields Hospital they advised that they did not have interlink and therefore I would need to have all the xrays done again, a wast of money and time. Pinderfields staff rang Scarborough whilst I was there and advised Scarborough of the error to ensure they did not make the same mistake again. I fail to see how they say the xrays were sent when an interlink was not available? How could such a simple mistake be made?
