My mother is 88 and required treatment at the Queen's Medical Centre last month. The medical team were efficient and courteous and answered all our queries very well. However, there were never enough blankets on the beds, so my mother was always very cold. The staff should better anticipate the needs of elderly patients.
The signage in the hospital is confusing and poor. It is not clear how one accesses other sections of the hospital (eg. the canteen) from the opthalmology ward.
My mother would like to thank Dr Ord (consultant) and staff nurses Rita and Nathan on ward C25.
"Thanks to Dr Ord and staff on C25 at Queen's Medical Centre"
