"mix up with booking appointment"

I have had regular colonoscopy tests and moved to York nearly four years ago. i started to have symptons which i thought needed checking so went to see my GP. I was told they would read my notes and let me know what would happen. I had a blood test with the nurse but was not told when i would get the results. Eventually i rang the surgery and was told the blood tests were ok.

I then got a letter from the hospital offering an appointment for the test and would i ring to make an appointment. This I did, I then had to change the date and rang three times - each time getting the ansaphone. I left messages but no one rang back. Eventually i managed to speak to someone who said the new date would be fine and then proceeded to talk about my treatments. She clearly had got me mixed up with another patient and apologied when i pointed this out. I received a confirmation letter for the new appointment, so I wait for the test and will tell you how I got on.
