"Very good care - but busy staff"

About: George Eliot Hospital - Acute Services / Accident and emergency George Eliot Hospital - Acute Services / Cardiology

(as the patient),

I find the hospital to be very good. The only thing I would say is that the nurses seem to be run off their feet.

The emergency dept I found was the best treatment I had anywhere in the NHS to be honest.

I also have been in EMU, Bob Jakin and Lydgate wards and CCU also the CDU. I cannot fault any of it.

Thank you for your kind comments and your concen about the work load of our nursing staff. The nursing role is very demanding particulalrly at times when the hospital has had an unexpected increase in the number of emergency admissions, We were pleassd to learn of your very positive experience in A&E and the 5 ward areas. Thank you for sharing this.
