About: New Victoria Hospital / Gynaecology Clinic

(as the patient),

I was really worried about my appointment for my Colposcopy In the new Victoria Hospital. When I arrived I was taken fairly quickly and greeted by a lovely nurse named Jan. The Doctor and nurse made me feel very calm asking my questions about the weather family etc, to try and relax me while they were examining me. It was over and done with in a matter of minutes. As the girl before me had said, my biopsy was done before I even had the chance to think about it. Afterwards, the lovely nurse Jan took time to explain what was happening in detail and gave me her direct number to call her with any worries. As I said, before I was really worried about attending the New Victoria as I've had a bad past experience with the another Glasgow Hospital.. Thank you to all the staff for restoring my faith in the NHS.
