"My Mother with Huntingtons"

My mother has Huntingtons disease and the decision was taken to order a new bed for her to make her comfortable. The OT dealt with this for us.

My mothers new bed arrived and was wholly unsuitable for her being a single hospital style bed, she had previous had a nice big double bed. The new bed is uncomfortable for her and she is currently sleeping on a mattress on the floor which is far from ideal but better than being in the newly arrived bed.

I can't put my mother back in her old bed as it was broken up and thrown away.

Naturally I am a little unhappy at the stress this is causing my mother as it seems the wrong or an unsuitable bed was ordered.
