"My experience at Dewsbury District Hospital Podiatry"

About: Dewsbury & District Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I have had trouble with ingrowing toenails for years but was always afraid of the podiatrist, so I just carried on with bad feet. I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and advised by my diabetes nurse to go up to the hospital podiatry. The letter came and then the day of the appointment came, I got up there shaking and feeling sick, was called in and was ready to bolt. The staff were really friendly and I wont say it didn't hurt because it did, but they really put me at ease.

I now have been going for six months and the staff said it would be six monthish before they were ok and lo and behold I've got great toe nails now and am more than happy to attend my appointment. Thanks guys you are great
