What I liked
the doctors my wife saw were very pleasant, patient andsympathetic towards me.
What could be improved
my wife was visitng radiology after a referal from her gp.
this visit proved to be quite upsetting for her due to thelack of understaning and compassion from the radiographer.
my wife has been off work for three weeks due a re-occurrence of a back problem which causes her a great deal of pain and discomfort.
she was subjected to even more pain and discomfort due to a youngster who was being trained as a radiographer.
because of their lack of experience my wife was left standing in the machine while they were being tutored by a senior radiographer. this delay caused wife some considerable pain which led to her crying in pain.
i appreciate that people need to trained but common sense could have beenused on this occassion.
Anything else?
i did consider making a formal complaint, but i hold the nhs dear and would not wish to make waves andwaste valuable resources over this matter.
"radiology poor but the doctors were excellent."
