"Scbu looking after my 6 week prem twin girls"

About: East Surrey Hospital / Maternity

(as the patient),

I had to have my twin girls 6 weeks early by c section due to one of the babies having trouble growing!

The specialist that was seeing me throughout my pregnancy wasn't the most compassionate of person and had me in a state a few times due to the way she spoke to me about my struggling twin!

But once I had the girls they were in the best hands ever in the scbu (special care baby unit) and the nurses were very reassuring and always there to help and support us with what ever we needed with our girls and if it wasn't for them I don't know what I would of done!

They really looked after my girls and had them home within 2 weeks .... Thank you all at the special care unit from me and my husband xxxx

Dear myspecialtwins

Thank you so much for your kind comments about SCBU and we're glad your girls are home safe and well - you must have your hands full looking after them!
