"I was well satisfied with the 10 days in Hospital..."

About: Stepping Hill Hospital

What I liked

I had a Hip replacement. Then put in ward D2. The staff were friendly and attentive to my needs.

I was in for 10 days and felt I was always being looked after. My thigh was of course painful for most of the time , but I was regularly given painkillers as required. Because the Cardiologist diagnosed some Atrial Fibrillation I was in longer than expected whilst they thinned my blood.

I have nothing but praise for the cleanliness of the system, the choice of meals, and the regular cups of tea.

What could be improved

I cannot think of anything that could have been improved.

Anything else?

Please thank the staff of D2 for their attention and their ability to make it a happy ward.

I would like to take this time to thank you for your feedback regarding the treatment you received during your recent procedure at this hospital. It is always greatly appreciated when a patient takes the time to pass on their positive feedback about the care they have received. I am pleased to hear that all of the staff who played a part in your care and treatment were professional.

Thank you once again for your kind words.

Kind regards,

Emma Harney
