What I liked
My daughter was treated on ward 30, after having inhailed meconium. After her transfer from Leicester Royal she was put on ecmo and within 4 days was taken off the treatment sucessfully.
The staff were fantastic and were happy to explain again and again to us what they were doing. She had a dedicated nurse the whole time she was being treated, the nurses looked after her as if she were their own.
If it wasnt for the dedication and skills of the staff on ward 30 our daughter may not have made it.
The hospital its staff and faciliteis made the whole situation a bit easier to bare.
