What I liked
the staff in a & e where very good
the student nurses was very good understanding and tried to help as much as they could
the ward was lovely and clean and the cleaner was lovely
when i went down stairs to the scan unit i was treated extreamly well and was very impressed
What could be improved
being refused why my doctor tried to refer me and sent to a&e and told its a polical matter when i could hear the conversation
the food ( some of it did get a little better the first meal i had i couldnt eat
the attitude of some staff
pain controlled a lot better i believe its meant to be kept under a score of 4 i was scoring 7/8 and not been listened to when i said the pain relief i was given was not working
not being kicked out in the manor i was
being told different things by different people
staff discusing peoples personal medical issue in a very undiscreate manor
being mixed up with another patient and only being given paracetamol thinking i couldnt have co diene and it flipently being brushed under the carpet
incorrect information on my discharge sheet saying i was allergic to a medicsation when im not and saying i was sent home as my pain had got better when it hadnt
having to hunt round the hospital in agony myself to get my medication chart to get some pain relief after waiting 6 hours
Anything else?
i have never had a bad experiance in stepping hill before and have been many times last time in january this year , untill i was addmitted to the jasmine suit .
from the moment i arrived on the ward till the second i left i cant really say anything good about the treatment i recieved at all
"not a very nice one at all and left feeling no..."
