"Pleased with treatment at Montagu Hospital"

I was a patient on the Day Ward at the Montagu Hospital, Mexborough for a cataract removal operation. The best thing about the way i was treated is that I was offered a drink after the operation.

One of the worst things is that there was no hand wash in the toilets between 7.30 in the morning and 1.30 in the afternoon.

At one point, i felt a little upset, as when the local anaesthetic wore off after the first cataract operation, I was in a lot of discomfort and this made me apprehensive about having the next operation done.

On the whole, I was pleased with the treatment I received though.
