Thank you for taking the trouble to post your comment on our hospital. We welcome all feedback and would like to assure you that all comments are taken seriously and acted upon as part of our ongoing commitment to improving patient experience.

We are disappointed to hear that you were not happy with the care your son received during your visit to our Accident and Emergency department. It is a very busy department but we aim to see patients within four hours of arrival. We are very sorry if we did not achieve it on this occasion. We would also like to apologise if the staff were rude to you – there is never an excuse for this behaviour and your comments have been forwarded to the A&E matron.

Unfortunately the crisis team is not part of the hospital team and we are dependent on them to carry out the assessment you refer to. It is difficult to comment further without knowing more information. If you would like us to look into your issues in more detail, please contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on free phone 0800 0730510.
