What could be improved
It was a very busy clinic in a very small area. There was little privacy and many distractions , which is not helpful when you are having your eyes tested for a potentially serious condition. The waiting area housed filing cupboards , so there was a constant flow of staff passing through. It was a little like being in a busy street. The actual room where the tests were carried out was like a cupboard , large enough to hold 2 machines, 2 operatives and 2 patients.
Anything else?
I have just received my results 3 months after my appointment, stating that the results of my visual fields examination were completely unreliable , due to poor fixation ,false positve responses and false negative responses. Potentially the fields are meaningless.Under the circumstances, I am not at all surprised.
