What could be improved

Car parking

I was late for my appointment because although I allowed plenty of time, the queue for the hospital car park stretched from halfway down Rock Avenue. I was anxious and angry by the time I got to the clinic. This was compounded by having to pay £1.50 for half an hour's parking.

A more prominent paragraph on the appointment letter warning of the impossible parking conditions with some information about bus routes and times might help alleviate the situation which is clearly very unsatisfactory.

Thank you for your feedback about the parking services at the hospital. I am sorry to hear you had to queue for the hospital car park on your visit.

Due to the hospital being enclosed by housing and protected green space, expansion for parking spaces is limited. The maximum number of cars that we can accommodate is very finite. We do however continue to improve our parking services. I take into account your comments about a more prominent paragraph on the back of the appointment letter and the availability of public transport information and will pass this onto the operations manager for further investigation.
