"Re: Successful Cataract Extraction and Implant Surgery at St. James's University Hospital, Leeds"

Following both the cataract extraction and implant operation that I, recently, underwent at St. James's University Hospital, Leeds, performed by the highly regarded Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon, Mr. James L. Ball MA FRCOphth, I should like to take this opportunity to express my sincere appreciation to both Mr. Ball and his team for undertaking the highly complex procedure which proved to be an unqualified success producing a considerable improvement to my standard of vision. It feels both miraculous and surreal experiencing such a noticeable transformation: both being able to see with such clarity without the aid of a contact lens and to see colours enhanced with such intensity for the first time in my life. It's the greatest Christmas present that I could have received - I shall be eternally indebted to them all. They certainly do provide an invaluable service. Moreover, Mr. Ball, on account of both his considerable ability and his reassuring disposition, inspired great confidence in me throughout the whole process and totally allayed my initial fears about the potential complications involved to the extent that I'm approaching my remaining forthcoming eye operation with total assurance and, in addition to this, I would highly commend the service provided by both Mr. Ball and his team to any patients currently considering undergoing eye surgery.
