What could be improved

When ever you ring the bell you would be very lucky if someone opens the door or even says hello though the intercom, this is especially true with night staff who are extremely insensitive and rude.

Anything else?

I would like to share my experience yesterday at around 13.10pm 1st July 2012 to the Queen mary Maternity ward. My baby is three months old and had rashes all over body. We just wanted a Paedriatician to look at her. On arrival the person at the bench asked what the problem was, and the moment I said Three months, they jumped with a smile to say ' i am sorry we do not treat babies at three months you need to go to the emergency ward with a big grin across their face. There was no concern or worry for the baby. They just carried on typing. Completely insensitive I thought. Perhaps they could have show some concern. Just a thought if I took my baby to the emergency ward, and the waiting time was around 2 to 4 hours, would there be a risk or greater risk of her catching some other infection from that environment? Oh well... let it be.
