"would go back if needed, but would be apprehensive..."

About: North Manchester General Hospital

What I liked

staff were friendly when approached

What could be improved

better communication, had to ask 5/6 times diffreant nurses if my son would be seeing a dr as wed been transferred from fgh and was eventually told no that wasnt how the ward worked after being told yes 5/6 times before that a dr would be in shortly. didnt think the staff communicated well and you had to ask alot of questions to get any answers. drs and nurses didnt communicate with each other well and was being told one thing by the dr and the nurse knew nothing about it.wasnt really showed round the unit when we got there eg: whre the kitchen was /a bed was provided but not until midnight when we approached someone about it

Anything else?

found fgh obsveration unit alot more comfortable
