"Excellent"

About: Queen Elizabeth I I Hospital (Welwyn Garden City)

What I liked

I've had bilateral TKRs and two spinal injections in the Princes Wing, and next month am due for a decompression op for severe spinal stenosis. It's truly excellent and it's criminal that it's being closed.

Thanks for the feedback - we'll make sure that its gets back to the team. On the closure bit, you're actually not right. Currently, the team on Princes Wing provides a specialist service to the whole of east and north Hertfordshire. By the end of 2014, the team and their service will have move to brand new facilities at an expanded Lister hospital in Stevenage, again supporting all of east and north Hertfordshire. So the excellent service will be retained, it's just the location that is changing.
