What I liked

Following major heart surgery, I attended the 6 week Phase 3 cardiac rehabilitation Programme, which I completed last week.

Like many, I am usually reticent about following up a service with comments of any sort but I found all aspects of this programme to be be so helpful, and every member of the staff conducting it to be so friendly, competent and attentive, that I could not leave praising it unsaid.

The welcome on each occasion felt so natural, and the individual attention given made me feel as if it was a 1 to 1 service so the balance is absolutely perfect. I enjoyed the company of fellow participants and and like others on the course, was sorry when it finished. The class warm up, exercises and cooldown, followed by the relaxation session was the ideal balance.

Certainly the whole experience, following such radical surgery, was inspirational, and I have already enrolled on a follow up course at my local Leisure Centre.
