What I liked

I've been coming regularly for several years. The staff are friendly. The environment (Mac Unit) is pleasant and relaxed. Both nursing and medical staff are caring and helpful as well as answering questions and making sure one understands what treatment options there are and what is being done.

If you have to be treated for cancer, this is as good a place as any!

They also have good links to more specialist consultants/hospitals elsewhere when needed.

What could be improved

Daily newspapers would be nice for patients spending all day there. That's about it for negatives/improvements!

Anything else?

Staff are good about hygien, and alcohol gel is available, but few patients seem to use it. Perhaps they should be pro-actively encouraged (posters are all very well but...)
