What I liked
My mother, who has dementia, was taken by ambulance into A&E after a fall. I met her there. Whilst I was there, the staff were very helpful. The doctor came and spoke to me to explain all the tests that they were going to do, what they were looking for and likely outcomes. The doctor came back at regular intervals to discuss results of the tests. All the other staff were very friendly and, on the couple of occasions where I had to pop out, were clear that they would be around in case my mother wandered. My mother was given a drink and a sandwich; I received a drink. Overall, a very good experience.
What could be improved
The doctor did not introduce himself; I had to ask who he was, but he was polite and helpful nonetheless. Most of the staff spoke to mum, some spoke directly to me - being very picky, even tho mum has dementia, it would have been extra nice if all had spoken with her first.
"Unexpectedly customer friendly, quick and thorough"
