"awful and never want to go back after being..."

About: The Royal Liverpool University Hospital

What could be improved

The toilets were filthy and smelly, toilet roll all over the place.

Anything else?

It was not the first time I've visited the Royal as I have a serious health condition and have been advised by my GP that should my state worsen I must attend A&E.

Every single time i've attended I've been made to feel like I'm wasting their time, that I'm complaining for nothing, and because of my age, they always seem to dismiss my health issues to some form of infection (With no proof, and every time they run the same tests of course they always come back negative).

Upon attending I needed help, but the nurse I saw was so rude to me, making me feel like an idiot for even being in A&E that I just burst out crying. He gave me some painkillers and left me, as they always do in that place. I requested his name from another female nurse so that I should be able to make a complaint - she looked at me, clearly having heard what I said and then just walked off.

As I stated it's not the first time I've attended the hospital and the nurses have always been rude and dismissive; not only to me but friends have also commented on the exact same treatment.

I am disgusted and wish I could afford private healthcare because I have no faith in the NHS's services, especially not at the Royal!
