What I liked

My husband received care in the gastroenterology department recently and wants to pass on his sincere thanks to the doctors. At all times, he was treated with kindness, respect and care by both the doctors and the lovely nursing staff on Station 1. I would also like to pass on our thanks to a nurse in the EAU where my husband was first treated on admission. Not only was she tremendously caring, she also explained everything that was being done concerning his treatment, so that we were always put at ease at a worrying time. Many thaks to you all.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments about the care and support you received by our staff in the Gastroenterology Department and the Emergency Assessment Unit. Your positive experience means a lot to us and we have passed your comments onto nursing and medical staff; they will be very pleased to receive such positive feedback.

It is always lovely to hear that our staff are providing the very highest standard of care to our patients and explaining clearly what is happening during treatment. Communicating well is so important for patients who are often anxious about being in hospital.
