"great staff but a few issues before admission"

About: New Victoria Hospital / Urology

(as the patient),

During my admission to the New Victoria for TVT surgery I found all the staff involved in my care were pleasant, caring and understanding. They all made me feel relaxed and comfortable for the short time that I was here.

The only negative point I can make happened before my admission. First of all I was sent the wrong date for surgery and only found this out by realising the date was at the weekend. I phoned and had this rectified.

The next issue was when I received and answer phone message saying I was “off the list” as I did not attend for a pre-op assessment. I was very upset as I had never received any communication re this. After a number of phone calls and with the help of a secretary I was eventually given another date for a pre op.

Very many thanks for providing your feedback, I was very sorry to read that you had a couple of difficulties along the way but also pleased that these were sorted out for you promptly, and that your treatment was such a positive experience.

Thank you again for taking the time and trouble to write to us.

Paul
